To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Charley Last week, my girlfriend and I had to make the toughest decision of our lives by putting our little 6 mo. old beautiful girl Charley down after an infection/virus that we were treating turned for her central nervous system. It was like my heart was being torn out watching this poor little, helpless creature try to be strong and try to fight off this disease. We were treating her symptomatically for a fever and, what looked like, an Upper Resp. Infection. We noticed that she was lathargic, not herself, depressed, but still eating and drinking enough, however she was loosing weight. I’ve had cats my whole life, but this was my first one on my own, and I’m still terribly upset about how quickly and soon she was taken from us. I thought this was a very rare disease, but now that I’ve done some research I can see that it is contracted a lot more frequently than I was led to believe. Comments
