To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Hero My first horse was a Quarter Horse. I watched him being born. I was there when we started his training. I was there for everything. Even when he died. His name was Hero. He helped me through all of the good times and bad times. When my boyfriend broke up with me, to the day my niece was born. At age 12 he got colic. I was devestated. I thought for sure that he was going to die. But he didn’t. He was able to get right back up and continue barrel racing for me. When he died, I stayed home from school for a week. He was in the pasture one day running around, playing with the birds when all of a sudden his left cannon bone gave out on him. We called the vet but it was too late. He was my Hero. It has been a few years and now I race on his son, HJ. Hero Junior. HJ is the spitting image of his father. Same personality and everything. Even down to the white snip on his nose. I love you Hero. Comments
