Jasper was born on 6/8/07, and we brought him home on 8/8/07 for our son Alec who is 10, he was one spunky kitten into everything. We also have an older cat named Wills who is 9, Jasper gave him a run for his money he was a brave kitten was not fearful of Wills one bit he definately brought excitement to the house.

On 10/22 my boys had no school and they called me at work to tell me that Jasper wasn’t himself was very quiet not wanting to play that much and had some loose stool a few days later he seemed better was getting back to normal had some energy, on 10/29 he was back to being quiet again so we brought him into the vet on 11/1, by that time he was staring to get a little jaundice so she wanted to run blood work so we did she called me on 11/2 and told me that his liver showed functions were nomal but all his other stats were way higher than they should be so she seemed to go towards liver failure possible due to FIP he went home on antibodics to see if it would help.

Jasper showed little improvement had a little energy on Sunday 11/4 but then started to decline again on 11/6, his belly was also getting bigger and he had lost his appetite. On 11/9 we had a follow up visit with Dr. Annie, Jasper had gotten worse he was more jaundice and no longer purring, was pushing a little to brethe after a lenghtly conversation with Dr. Annie on Jaspers chances and quality of life Dr. Anna said that outcome was not good that his quality of life would not be comfortable that he would be best for him to be put down, so last night at 8:10pm we lost our little Jasper to FIP, after he was gone Dr. Annie took a sample of the fulid that was filling up his stomach and chest cavity we had lost him to the wet version of FIP we will miss him immensely.
