To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Max-a-Million I had a beautiful, loving, energetic Abbysinian kitten names Max-a-Million. He was a wonderful fellow that I got from a reputable breeder after my 23 year old Abby died. Max was the picture of health, full of life and energy. He was one of the most loving animals I have ever owned. Last week I noticed he was losing weight. I called the vet and made an appointment. I was new to the area so I was told they couldn’t fit me in till later in the week because we were new clients and would need and extended appt. Much to my horror I learned my wonderful had FIP and worse yet there was nothing that could be done to save him. Not wanting to believe and hoping for a miracle I contacted the vet I had dealt with for years and we made the trip back to see him. More tests and x-rays were taken and the original diagnosis was confirmed. My wonderful guy was beginning to experience discomfort and there was nothing I could do to help him. In less than 2 weeks Max-a-Million went from a little picky to doomed! All I could do was to hold and comfort him as my vet first gave him IV fluids and administered the medicine that allowed my beloved friend to die peacefully in my arms. My wonderful new neighbors dug a grave in my new back yard and helped me bury one of the most wonderful cats in the world. August 2007
