My dog Sophie somehow came down Parvo. She is a sweet-hearted, happy dog. I was on vacation when she came down with the illness. The vet said he couldn’t do anything for her. My sister worked her hardest with her. She tried to get her to eat and drink constantly. In the end she tried Pepto Bismol. Amazingly it helped Sophie keep her food down and make her feel more at ease. Sophie is still alive today at 12 years old. I think that the Pepto Bismol allowed Sophie to stomach enough nutrients to pull her through. She had been in a terrible state, bleeding and losing clumps of hair everywhere. I am extremely grateful to my sister for her efforts. Comments
