I had never heard of it, and was never told that a bloated belly on a dog was life threatening! He ate his food like normal and suddenly started retching as if he were going to vomit, but didn’t. If I would have known how important it was to get emergency care immediately in that situation, he may have been saved. At least I wouldn’t have the guilt knowing I waited too long. Why didn’t I know about this horrible condition? Comments
