To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Beast Beast is a young male cat, maybe a history of Maine Coon with medium long fur, tiger striped, and a smidge of orange coloring on his face. He was living outside, starving, and adopted me. Very friendly after learning he could trust me, he stay near the house, sleeping on the porch, not afraid of the dog, ready to play. I think he is about a year and a half, still plays like a kitten, eats like an alligator. When no one claimed him, or said he had gone missing, I took him to be neutered. At the clinic they did blood tests and discovered that he is feline Leukemia positive. He doesn’t appear to have any physical problems, no signs/symptoms of infection, tooth decay, pain with movement, or digestion problems. He is steadily gaining weight. Coat is beautiful. Completely comfortable with his life style. Goes for a walk down the road with the dog and I every night, does his business in the large sandy road that was really created by truckers, and goes home, ready for bed. Eats smallish meals 3 times a day, dry food always accessible. How can I support him with his diagnosis? I plan to get him retested in about 4 months, having heard that he may have been a false positive from my girlfriend. He’s a terrific cat, I don’t want him to get sick. |
