This is very sad…two summers ago two kittens, about 6 weeks, crawled under my fence and decided that I was their mom. I tried to find them homes but had no luck. I couldn’t bring them in because I already was over run with animals in the house and my husband forbid it. I bought a heated kennel and fed and watered them, played with them and did the best I could. I didn’t have the money to have them immunized because I don’t make that much.

They got older and started to come and go at will. They showed up pregnant last spring and each had 5 kittens. I scraped the money together and put an ad in the paper and found the kittens homes. No one wanted the moms…who we had named Mink and Sable.

They both showed up pregnant again, Sable being the first to deliver. She was very skinny and not well. She had her kittens and no milk came in. She didn’t care for them. I took all six and tried to bottle feed. They all died. She is no better and a vet tech friend of mine said she has all the symptoms of FelV I have no idea what to do nor do I have the money to help her.
