To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download What A Shock I have had Kiki since he was weaned ,and he turned 3 in May,2007.He is an indoor outdoor cat, we have had him neutered and his Rabies shots. I have been taking Kiki to the same vet since he was about 6 mths old with the same reoccurring problems. Well finally in Jul 2007 they said it is Herpes, well at one point we had went to the local emergency vet who told me after spending four hundred dollars he has us stumped but suggested a Tracheal Cell wash after a round of Clavamox. I finally decided to get the Trachel cell wash thurs 23 of August 2007. I called his regular vet who does not do the procedeure, after 6 or 7 more calls to surrounding vets ,i found one who said bring Kiki in. We goin and they have his medical records from the regular vet and the emergency vet visit , the new vet Rachel says she does not feel Kiki has Feline Herpes as the regular vet diagnosed in July 2007. So she says she wants to check foe Feline Leukemia . All along i have been under the impression his regular vet has already tested him, knowing he is an indoor outdoor cat. Well after a few minutes she comes in says the test is positive and he also has a large mass that spans fromm in his left ear behind his left eye and the whole nasal area. I am devastated by this and angry that his vet of 3 yrs almost has never tested him . Please if there is anyone who has went thru this or knows what i might be facing please contact me . I am on pins and needles waiting on the lab results to come back. So if anyone can offer any insight into this terrible disease please help me and Kiki. August 2007
