We are so heart broken. I tell people he found us and we took him in, and it had to be for a reason. This fiesty, orange and white tabby kitten we named Peaches. We nursed him back to health and thought all was fine. Until I took him to get neutered and declawed so he could continue to stay indoors with the family. He was spoiled and very mischievious. He seemed to be happy. After he got his surgery I noticed some changes in him, like not coming around us and not eating as much. He weighed in at 13 lbs before his surgery. I thought maybe it had something to do with the fact that we just inherited a Yorkie and he didn’t like the dog. Then I noticed he started to lose weight and he barely ate anything. He then developed diarhhea and his paws and insides of his ears turned whitish. I took him to the vet and he was positive. I cried and it hurt me to look at him knowing what I had to do. It was even harder to tell my kids since they were the ones that found him and wanted him. You really don’t realize how attached you are to something until it’s gone!! Comments
