To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Spike’s Tired spike was our cat only for 3 months, he was rescued by my partners parents, they nursed him and brought him back to health several times til finally he was neutered and became their indoor bruser of a beautiful cat, with personality to boot. We didn’t have a pet so they offered him to us, so at Christmas this year we had a very special treat named Spike. He was sooo loving and happy, always demanding our attention (on his terms of corse). Then we had a trip planned to the Dominican, so Spike went back to his prior home for a vacation as well. while there he came down wtih a respitory infection which was looked after, but started not to eat, and became depressed. When we returned home we learned of this, so to get him back home with us was top priority. When he arrived home Spike had lost around 8-10 lbs. He just wasn’t the same bruser loving boy. We took him to the vet and they said they thought that he had a fatty liver, he was very jhondus, unless we had blood work done we would never know. Blood work was done the next day and we were devestated to learn of his deteriorating health, feline leckumia. We were devistaed, and he was really progressed, we had a decision to make, we couldn’t do it. We called home and up came my partner’s Dad and Brother, they couldn’t and wouldn’t believe the news. Today we went to the vets for the prognosis, as you know it wasn’t good. So her family decided to take the big boy back to his original home to care for him until his death, wether it be natural or not. We decided it wasn’t Spikes time, he will let us all know, he will leave a big hole in all our hearts when it is time for him to move on. Until then he is in the best hands of his Pal and rescuer.
