I had Phaedra 38 days before finding out that she had feline lukemia. She had it when I adopted her. Now I’m afraid that I infected my other cat which has always been healthy. I had to have Phaedra put to sleep. Stores where you adopt should check for this before they let you take it home and infect your other cats.
