Abby - my 4 year old tabby, was taken to the vet on Friday, test results came back Monday, she had FIP She died at home Tuesday. To read the stories here is pretty amazing. What is amazing is how young the cats are. I share your pain. Abby was one of two cats that I have…she ran the house, greeted everyone that came to visit, strong minded, expressive, fearless and affectionate. As a single 52 yr old man, this is the hardest thing I’ve had to go thru in my life. God has blessed me to have her in my life…as brief as it was.

    We had her for 13 years and this disease hit. We had to put her down and this about killed me. Even at the end she purred in my arms and looked at me with those yellow eyes. I cried like a baby and I am a 57 y.o. man. [more..]
