Our love Riley Roo

We got Riley when she was just fitting in our hands! She was the most loveable cat ever, she loved everyone. Always healthy, all her vaccinations, spayed, perfect. It was just over a week ago that Riley was outside rolling around in the sun, she loved it outside, she always stayed in the backyard. Riley was always an indoor cat up until a couple months ago, we couldnt keep her inside!

A few weeks ago we noticed her lymph nodes were very swollen, but she acted fine so we didnt think much about it. A couple days ago we noticed rapid weight loss and a very bloated belly. She then started to become weak, couldnt barely eat, drink, or really move. We made a vet appointment, but it was too late. The next morning we woke up to find her having seizures, we immediately rushed her to the vet,by the time we got there she was struggling to breathe. They diagnosed her with fip and told us there was no cure. We were devastated, she was part of our family. We had never heard of such a disease, the vet she had previously been seen for all her care never once mentioned this disease.

We brought Riley home in peace and buried her under the lilac tree. She is home now were she loved to be, she is no longer suffering. Our family is lost without her,our home will never be the same. For those of you affected by this awful disease our hearts go out to you. Riley we will always love you and miss you, we will see you again some day.
