To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Pixie My 7 month old cat isn’t eating or drinking, she’s lethargic, and weak. She has been rolling her eyes non stop from left to right, or right to left. She isn’t vomiting and doesn’t have diarrhea. She doesn’t poop or pee much either. Her pancreas ultra sound came back normal, her kidneys and other organs are all ok, she doesn’t have any infections and poison didn’t show up either. The vets don’t know what is wrong, and keep suggesting she has dry FIP After reading about the disease, I don’t believe this is the cause of her being sick. She did come from a shelter and she is a kitten, but that’s about all. Her neurological problems are getting worse. She doesn’t have balance, can’t walk straight, doesn’t use her left side much, and has a hard time getting up and down from couches, beds, toilets, etc. I have black mold in my house but she has no signs of mold poisoning. Her lungs are fine, and the vets keep telling me even if she ate the mold, it would show up in tests. She’s never gone outside, except in a carrier and there are no other animals around. She has always had a runny eye, but nothing else. She grinds her teeth a lot which I’ve been told is either because she is losing her baby teeth, or she has a stomach ache. I’ve never seen teeth from her, so I know she has a problem with her stomach, but xrays and ultra sounds show otherwise. Her breath smells horrible for a kitten her age, like a port-a-potty at times. The only thing I can get her to eat is some kitty treats or turkey deli meat. I know she needs more, but if that’s what she will eat, then I give it to her as a treat, not as a diet replacement. I know she probably does have dry FIP but my stronger feeling tells me there is something else wrong. I don’t know what else to do. My 18 year old cat was more energetic and ate more right before she died than my 7 month old cat is. Comments
