Yesterday I put down our little India. she was only 5 months. When we 1st adopted India within the week she had runny eyes and a sneeze. We got that cleared up and she was happy to sleep on our laps all day was a very loving kitten, slept under the covers with my daughter every night. Thursday morning India didnt seem like herself and was having trouble walking, that night it was clear somethings wrong, she could not even scratch her ear without falling over. Sat up all night with her, me crying knowing something is wrong, Friday morning 8 am to the vet we go exrays, blood test…….and waiting till the next day for results. Saturday India is know pulling herself around on the ground with her front legs… she sleeps most of the day …the vets calls and tells us the bad news she positive for FIP… The few hours we had left with India where so loving she purred and we cried. We could not stand to see this 5 month old kitten go on like this so with tears in our eyes we let our little India go……
The short amount of time that she was with us, she touched our heart so deeply …… these kittens are the special ones that bond so tight with those they love, they are all of our little angels….

  • Our Little Dewey - by Maureen - (Thu, Jan 03 2008)
We adopted Dewey from Pets Mart on my birthday Dec.3rd.07. After a month or so, he began to get a fever and was not himself. He had a complete CBC but we were told everything was normal and perhaps he had uti. They gave him antibiotics and sent him home. A couple of days later, [more..]
