To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Beanie Baby I’ve had my Beanie since Feb 14, 1997. We’ve been through alot together. Lately she’s had a cough and her voice has become real hoarse and suddenly she has lost her appetite. I took her to the Dr. on Saturday, and to my horror she was diagnosed with FIV The Dr. put in a feeding tube to see if we can get her immune system back up with ferlone, vitamins, and antibiotics. I do not want to let her go but I also do not want to see her in pain. I wanted to give her a chance to pull out of this, but I don’t know if there’s going to be much improvement. She’s still not eating on her own, and still has a fever. Her breathing has gotten much better just in the last few days. I’m still hoping for the best, with the knowledge that I have to prepare for the worst. I’m sorry for anyone who has ever had to make the decision to put your cat down. It would be easier to be selfish and keep our mates here with us, relieving them of thier suffering is much harder but also a sign of our true love for them as a member of our family and as our best friends.
