To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Old King King is my amazing Maine Coon. I just found out today he has FIV and has just a few days to live, if that. I was given the option to euthenize [euthanize] him today, but could not do it. I have brought him home, and hope that he can have a few days in peace before he goes. I cannot describe how much I love this cat, and really do not know how to deal with it at this point. I feel like I am at fault for letting him into my back yard to sniff around and do the things he loves, like lay on the grass and chase bugs. This is the second cat I have had to bury, and I feel like I have lost a part of the family. He is such a special cat, just seems to be on a different level. To know that he will soon be gone is just not fair, and does not seem right. Still trying to accept at this point, so I know I will need some time. July 2007
