To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Feline Herpes Can be controlled with Interferron I bought my baby boy Micah when he was just a few weeks from what I thought was a reputable breeder of Tonkinese kittens. Several hundred dollars later it was determined by the Cheshire Cat Hospital in Westminister, CO that he had Feline Herpes They gave him plenty of fluids, B vitamins, Lysine, and potassium, along with Interferron and 7 years later he is still going strong with only occassional mild flare ups. It is usually pretty clear when he is struggling with the virus as his appetite goes away. This has been the tricky part, getting him to eat enough to stay healthy. I have had to force feed him at times with a plastic syringe loaded with water and wet canned food to get the job done. This is a horrible virus. It is painful to watch him struggle at times, but it is nothing like it was in the beginning. Previous vets had all but written him off, but I wouldn’t settle for those answers. Comments
