The vet can be a risky place

I recently took by twelve week old yorkie along with four St.Bernard puppies into my vets office, my yorkie recieved ind third round of shots and the puppies their second worming all were given a clean bill of health that day from the vet. My Yorkie got sick on the way home. i just thought it was fromm the shot. He didn’t get better so the next day I took him back to the vet, who told me he had either corna virus or parvo. He gave me some meds. sent me home told me we had caught it in time and the important thing was to keep him hydrayted. I did everything he told me to the letter. He lead me to believe my puppy should show improvement by morning and never recommended hosptalizition for my puppy. The next morning I called my vet just to let him know my puppy was dying. He asked me to bring him in and when I told him he wouldn’t make it, his respnse was he probably just in a sugar coma giving him some corn syrup and when he perks up bring him in. well, needless to say he didn’t perk up and was dead within the next 30 mins. Now I have also lost one of my St. Bernards and another is sick. I just keep wondering did my puppis get this at the vets office and why he acted to heartless about it all if they didn’t. I thought I was doing the responsible owner thing my getting my dogs vaccines but it cost me my little boys beloved new pet.
