THE DAY DUKE ALMOST DIED

My 19 week old Shitzu/Maltese lay there dying of Parvovirus… How could this be happening??? We had him vaccinated, followed all the veterinarians advice, did not take him for walks until the appropiate time…

Then the time came that I had excitedly been waiting for…I took him for his first ever walk, he was so clever, He could walk on the lead real well… ( I had been training him at home in our backyard… He could sit, stay and obey all the other commands he was given… I was so proud of him… Then two days later he became ill… He started vomiting, at first my husband and I thought he may have eaten something that he should not have done…

Being a puppy they pick everything up with their mouths..
but early the next morning he was showing signs of being unwell… At first I thought he was just being fussy because he would not eat, I tried everything, even cooked him several different food’s to entice him to eat.. but he would just smell it and stumble away… Then I noticed that he would not drink his water when offered to him. As the morning progresssed, he vomited more and then the diahrrea appeared…

I became very concerned and rung the vet… They told me to bring him straight there. Of which I did. Upon arriving at the vet’s. He was checked over and I was told that he showed no symptoms of being unwell… He had no temperature, the vet could feel no obstructions in his abdomen, and his colouring in the mouth was normal… He could see the pup was dehydrated, and also knew that the pup was definately not his normal self…

He then gave me some powder which I had to mix in water… It was to replemish his electrodes… And was told not to feed him for the next 24 hours… Of which I followed … Over the next 24 hours I could see no improvement in Duke, by the next day he was growing worse…. Within hours Duke had become listlless his weight had dropped immensly, his mouth gums and toungue had a real grey appearance and was not responding… He did not want to drink, the diarreah had become worse… I was holding him with tears streaming down my face, in the short while that we had him, we have grown to love him dearly… I was not ready to say goodbie to this little man…. I knew of the mortality rate in pup’s with parvovirus…
Having witnessed this desease before, I knew this pup did not stand a chance.

Then I remembered reading an article in a booklet how someone here in Western Australia had saved his own puppy whom had contracted parvovirus with something so simple that not many people have heard of… Colloidal Silver… I had been using it on Duke to clear the discharge from his tear ducts which I must say he does not suffer with anymore… This product kills around 650 different bacteria known to mankind… including viral bacteria in both animals and human’s within 6 minutes of contact with the germ…. Remebering of this product which I keep in my pantry… I grabbed a siringe with no needle which the vet had given me, and started force feeding it to him down his throat…. Then I also mixed more with spring water and force fed him some more… After that all I could do was pray that it would work…

I sat there next to his bed as he lay there… Talking to him and patting him… Within the hour, even though he was not a well little puppy, he showed his first signs that he was going to get better. At least I hoped… For the first time, since he had become ill, he showed some response… he lifted his head up and licked my face… Upon doing this I noticed that his toungue was no longer grey looking but had become once again a healthy looking pink colour…

So I opened his mouth and behold, his mouth looked healthy… He started reponding, and wanted water, we kept it up with the spring water… And he just kept drinking and drinking… later on we gave him some boiled chicken.. very little… But he wanted more… He was still weak and that took another 24 hours for him to start becoming himself…The next morning his feces were still runny but more like melted choccolate… He still needed to sleep to recuperate… This was three days ago… How quickly they recover…

Today u would not know that my pup almost died… He’s back to being his normal self, running a muck all day long. Bringing joy and laughter in to our lives…
And the Colloidal Silver??? Well… all I can say I was ill myself for almost 10 months, with all the antibiotics these doctors provide us with… They could not cure the germ I had acquired a while back… Until the day I walked in to a health shop and was introduced to this product… Whatever I had, has gone out of my system too… It may not work for everybody, but both my husband and I bellieve it worked for us… Oh yes and Duke too…
