Her eyes were crusted closed; she weighed about 7 lbs. and was in very poor health. Luckily for her the director of the Baja Anim. Sanctuary was driving by that extremely hot day July, 2007. The director, Sunny Benedict, somehow caught her and took her to the sanctuary. She thought she would need to be euthanized due to her poor medical condition. Comments
