Homeopathic Meds

by: Krista on Mon, Jul 23 2007

I adopted a Rescue puppy where a litter of 5 was left in a dumpster in Tempe at 1 week of age… At week 6 I believe they contracted Distemper so I have 1 of only 2 survivors who has made it to week 12. He is on all the vet meds but with his 1st puppy shot I have noticed quite a loss in his energy and am quite worried. His pads are dry as well as discharge with his eyes & nose, which I have meds. Would like to know more about the Homepathic meds. since the vets say it is a waiting game.

My german shepard, which is not yet a year old has distemper At first the vets thought it was, then they thought it was an upper respitory [respiratory] infection, now with reading suymtoms [symptoms], it looks like it’s distemper. She has been on medication for a month now. The first week her temp was 107. [more..]

4 weeks ago we lost our 3 yr old Jack Russell Terrier after complications from a stillbirth. She left 3 baby girls for us to care for. Everything was going good until 5 days ago when we came home and the biggest and most active one was yelping. After really watching her, we noticed she wasn’t able to walk properly and apparently having seizures. [more..]

(Note: the “Living with Canine Distemper” Monderator has not been able to determine the safety or effectiveness for dogs of the treatment regimen listed below.) Amy, you can definitely save your terrior [terrier]. The homeopathic medicines you need to give together as a concoction are 1. Distemperinum C30 or 32 whichever you can get - 7 -8 drops 2. Echinacea purpurea - 7 -8 drops 3. Bryonia C6 - 5-6 drops [more..]

  • My Gizmo - by Sarah - (Sun, Jul 22 2007)
I begin my story with my new puppy Gizmo! I got him when he was 5 weeks old. He got two shots the day before I purchased him. He was a full-blooded schnauzer. A week after I got him I took him for his first puppy check-up. I was so excited! I was told that he had a little skin rash and a little case of the worms. This was all supposed to be cureable. Well, I took my puppy home and gave him his medicine and he seemed fine. [more..]
