Well while we were gone to chemo for my mom we were called by the person who was caring for our dog that he was not doing well. When we got the puppy we were told that he had all of his shots so we thought we were ok leaving him outside. Well come to find out the person who gave us the puppy just wanted to get rid of the puppies which is a very sad thing because I have 2 kids, 4 & 8 that were really attached to him. He was a choc lab.which my 8 year old wanted him to be his hunting dog when he was 12 and old enough to hunt. I was very upset because my 2 boys have gone through a lot. First off, their grandma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and then their dad (who we are separated) went through a very serious surgery and had complications where his kidneys shut down and is very sick. Then we’re called to tell us that our puppy had passed away!!!!! It has been real tough. It just seems like the last month has been a nightmare and I am the one who has to explain everything to them that has happened and I am a single mom. I feel like I am the bad person b/c I am the one who has to explain everything to the boys!!!! We are lucky to live in a smalll comm, where people care and we already have another puppy lined up. The only other difference is that we already have all of its shots and etc scheduled for the day we get it !!!!! Comments
