To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My tomb raider Lara is 6 & 1/2 years old a german shepard crossed with a collie. last week wednesday she was very pale, walking slowly, hardly eating. when i fed her she used her paw and pushed my hand away,i knew soemthing was wrong. we thought it would go away, but it got a little worse.friday we took her to the vet,he gave her a few injections, some medication to give her and said that she has eaten something she wasnt suppose to.we thought it was food poisoning.she got worse, couldn’t stand or walk, dint eat anything at all.sunday we took back to the vet,he gave another 3 injections.it didn’t help. today is monday,we took her to another clinic, explained the vet the situation.when lara had to go,she passed out blood before.the vet said she has internal bleeding, then she explained what distemper is and it looks like lara has it.then she said,if she’s been infected,no matter what anyone does she will die,i didn’t know what to do,i just looked at my girl and rubbed her back. she’s staying over night at the clinic, they put her on drips.after reading the information on this website it seems that she does have distemper i can only hope and pray she pulls through this.i do not want her to suffer, cause it seems like this disease causes alot of pain and problems for these poor dogs, but i dont want to lose my bestfriend. my advice to others is make sure your pup gets their vaccines, lara had been vaccinated but apparently it was not a proper one.it’s too late to fight with anyone over it,i just want my girl back home, please pray for her, she’s a gorgeous dog,and very friendly… Comments
