Pogo’s Story

After three years of steroid shots for stomatitis, I had Pogo’s teeth extracted (all but the canines). Two months later she had respiratory symptoms and was diagnosed with calici virus, which I now understand is what caused the stomatitis. Now I’m told that “calici is forever.” I am devastated. Pogo is a ten year old much-loved pet, and I have no idea what her future will be.
