We hope that you find their experiences helpful to your own situation. To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download calcivirus - 3 cats I had a 3 cat household that all came down with calcivirus. I’m still not sure how they contracted it- maybe from the strays in the neighborhood? The urgent care bills and vet office visits/injections/medications are currently at $2200.00 and growing. The problem right now isn’t the virus- it’s that they aren’t eating/drinking anything due to the ulcers on their tongue. This morning the vet prescribed pain medication to help with the ulcer uncomfortableness and hopefully, they will be able to eat today. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. April 2008
