To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Feline Distemper =[ About 3 years ago I had a black cat and he got feline distemper It was a very sad experiance. We nursed him day and night for about a week then he died. About 2 years ago I got another cat, she had kittens about 8 weeks ago. This week she hasn’t been home alot. Yesterday we noticed she had the syptoms of feline distemper So we put her in a box and put her outside so she wouldn’t infect the kittens. We called the vet to get her put to sleep because we just couldnt let her suffer because she won’t eat or drink and she would suffer of starvation and dehidration. We went to go check on her yesterday and she moved into the hydrangea bush. Then a half hour later we went to check on her and she was gone. We feel terrible because she is suffering. We don’t think she will come back because she thinks we kicked her out. But I also think she understands why because she would’nt go near the kittens at all for the last week we thought she was neglecting them but she really was being a good mother. We hope to find her soon so she doesnt have to suffer in pain. We would try to help her if she would come back. But now she is proabably to weak to go to far. We have checked all of the neighbors bushes and yards for her. This disease is terrible. And she got it because we have a cat house behind us and some of those cats have it and gave it to ours. This disease is terrible and heartbreaking. Comments
